What am I doing?

I work full time. I have a family. That doesn’t leave a whole lot of spare time. But if you were sitting near me on the bus, you’d see me tapping away on my phone. Most days, just making a small bit of progress on my latest story. Inching towards my dream of becoming published.

Do you have something that you’re inching towards? Something you wish you could just click your fingers and you’d have hours and hours of time to dedicate to doing something you love?

I really hope you find your opportunity to get that time. In the meantime, keep inching towards your goal when you can. But go easy on yourself and try to enjoy the little moments you get to inch towards your goal. That’s what I’m trying to do.

Well, I can hear Arnold calling, so I’d better go. Who is Arnold you ask? He’s a character in the story I’m writing. He’s a twelve year old boy who somehow got stuck with the responsibility to save the universe from an attack from evil aliens. He is depending on me to write him out of an impossible situation. So, off I go! Back off aliens! This is Arnold’s universe and he will protect it!
